Part 1

Carolyn tried to work on her new story but couldn't concentrate because her thoughts kept going back to the express erotic dream which she had last night again. She was glad that her children were on a vacation in California with their grandparents while she was having these intense erotic dreams.

Her face was still glowing when thinking back on that dream. Somehow she had to manage to bring her emotions under control because she couldn't take the risk that Martha would notice her blushed face. Her housekeeper would immediately overwhelm her with questions and Carolyn had no intention of answering them. But no matter how much she tried to control her emotions, she didn't succeed.

And it seemed it would get much worse. Carolyn was just about to step out through the french doors to get some fresh air when Martha called from downstairs with a very excited voice. "Mrs. Muir, you should come downstairs!"

"What the matter, Martha?" Mrs. Muir called back. "Can't you come upstairs yourself and tell me what's so important?"

"No, Mrs. Muir, you must take a look for yourself. Please! It's really very important. If you don't make it quickly downstairs, then I can't guarantee anything," came Martha's prompt answer.

Carolyn, alarmed by that answer, hurried out of her bedroom and downstairs. Her face was still glowing a little bit. She found Martha in the living room and looking out the window. Ms Grant heard Mrs. Muir's footsteps and turned around. "Oh good, there you are." In her excitement, she still noticed Mrs. Muir's blushed face but didn't say a word. "Please take a look out the window and then you will know why I've called for you."

Stepping beside Martha, Carolyn looked out the window and there she saw why her housekeeper was so excited and had called for her to come downstairs. "Oh no, not that other twin!"

"Mrs. Muir, you mean, that's not your cousin Harriet?" Martha baffled because she was so sure that it had been cousin Harriet who had come once again.

"No, Martha, that's her twin sister, Hazel."

"Are you sure, Mrs. Muir, that it isn't your cousin Harriet again?"

"Martha, believe me, it's Hazel. I could..." but stopped before saying the wrong word. Carolyn had a very bad feeling and inwardly she was cursing. 'BLAST! BLAST! BLAST! I wonder what Harriet has told her about me and Daniel'. Still thinking of Daniel, who would come back tomorrow from his visit to the spectral fraternity, she wondered. 'How will he react when he notices the other nosy twin is here? That will be disaster. First that fierce love dream and now Hazel. What will come next?'

"You mean, she hasn't let you know that she wanted to come?" Martha asked with a bit of anger in her voice. It didn't escape her that something else was also still bothering Mrs. Muir because she had clearly noticed Carolyn's blushed face. 'If I didn't know better, I could swear she has had a very erotic dream last night which she can't get out of her mind. Stop, Martha, that is no concern of yours what Mrs. Muir did in her dreams. Remember the trouble with that special cookbook,' the housekeeper thought.

"NO, Martha, she hasn't." A knock at the front door interrupted the conversation between Mrs. Muir and her housekeeper. Both women were so annoyed about Hazel's unwanted visit that they hadn't noticed that Hazel had made her way toward the house.

Before Hazel could knock again, Carolyn opened the door. "Hazel, you should have called and let me know that you wanted to come." She said a little bit harshly.

"Sorry, Carolyn, but I wanted to surprise you and the children. Harriet has told me so much about you and your Captain that I wanted to see him myself." She wasn't prepared for this rather harsh welcome.

Carolyn had expected her cousin's request. Now she was angry and inwardly cursing. 'BLAST! I have no intention to call on Claymore again. Oh Daniel, please come back quickly, I need you more then you can know.' She turned to her cousin. "The children aren't here. But, please come in."

"Oh!" Hazel baffled and a little disappointed. "That doesn't matter if the children aren't there. Honestly, I am here to get to know your Captain. Is he there?"

Carolyn sailed around that question quite skillfully and said, "first we should get your baggage out of your car and then I'll show you to your room. After you have freshened up, Martha will make us some coffee and then we can have our little chat. Alright, Hazel?"

"Very well!" the cousin answered and continuing in her thoughts. 'Why didn't Carolyn answer my question about the Captain? She is concealing something from me and I'm determined to find out what it is.'

With the help of Martha, they brought Hazel's baggage into the house. None of the three women suspected that they had taken some evil amulet with them in to Gull Cottage which was in cousin Hazel's suitcase.

While Mrs. Muir was helping Martha in the kittchen, Hazel opened her suitcase and took some things out of it. There, unnoticed by her, the amulet, which was also in the suitcase, fell to the floor in the guest room.

After refreshing in the bathroom, Hazel got downstairs where she knew Carolyn and Martha were waiting for her.

While having the conversation about Captain Gregg, Hazel's curiosity wasn't satified, but she wouldn't give up so quickly. Now the cousin was very sure that Carolyn had a big secret which she was concealing from the whole family.

And then, by ten o'clock, Martha was suddenly very nervous. She excused herself and told Hazel and Mrs. Muir she had forgotten something upstairs and she wanted to fetch it before going to bed.

While getting upstairs, she felt suddenly an extremely icy-cold wind coming in her way which seemed to come out from the guest room. 'What in the world?' she thought. Curious, Martha made her way to the guest room to take a look at what could have been the cause of that icy-cold wind. Opening the door to the room, she stepped in. Mysteriously, it was warm in that room, no icy-cold wind in it. She shrugged her shoulders and was about to leave when her eyes caught sight of a shinning object on the floor, in front of the bed.

Picking it up to see what it was, she saw that it was a strange amulet. Maybe it belonged to Mrs. Muir's cousin and she should give it back to her. But when looking more closely, the housekeeper saw that it couldn't belong to Hazel because it was very mysteriously and old and had some very peculiar letters engraved into the edge. In the middle of that object was a strange kind of caterpillar that Martha had never seen before. 'I think I'd better show this amulet to Mrs. Muir, perhaps she knows something about it.' She didn't know why but suddenly she put the amulet on top of the drawers and left the room without giving the object further attention.

Martha was hardly out of the room when danger took form. A male shape appeared in the guest room.

After a quick round through Gull Cottage, he noticed that only three females where in the house. Now he was devilishly grinning and thinking. 'Exactly what I have always wanted. Alone with three women in a house. The older of them I will annoy only a little bit but should that one have the intention of fighting more intensively in defense, I will have to change my tactics with her. And with the two younger females I will amuse myself in a more amorous way.

But I'll begin with my attacks only when all three women have gone to bed.' So all three ladies couldn't escape him, the shadow made sure that all doors and windows in the house were firmly locked.

Part 2

Only fifteen minutes after Martha had left the living room, Carolyn and her cousin did the same. They made their way upstairs and retired to their rooms to get ready for bed.

Hazel had no idea that she was being watched by a male shadow while changing her clothes. That evil ghost had a very devilish gleam in his eyes as he watched Hazel standing completely naked before him for a split second. He enjoyed this sight very much and had the intention to touch the cousin's breasts, but stopped himself. 'No, not that way, that would spoil my amorous fun' he thought. 'I'll take her in her bed; that would provide me with more satisfaction.' He waited till Hazel had gone to bed. But his first attack failed because some noises from downstairs disturbed him.

The ghost was so furious about this disturbance that his amulet, which was still lying on the drawers, began to glow dangerously red. Thank God for Hazel, she got nothing of what was going on in the guest room because she had fallen asleep in the meantime.
***************
Downstairs, Martha was awakened out of her light sleep because she had seen that amulet again before her mind's eye. Now she couldn't sleep anymore because she couldn't get the thought of that mysterious object out of her head. She was determined to find out what power that amulet held and to whom it once belonged. Maybe that ghost or whatever it was was in the house right now and had designs toward Mrs. Muir and perhaps her cousin Hazel. 'But to what end?' the housekeeper thought. 'I must find out.'

And now she remembered she had seen a picture of that evil amulet in some book about mysterious things. Getting out of her bed, she left her room and made her way to the living room where she knew that special book had to be.

Once there, Martha switched on the lights and looked for that book. Bingo, she thought as she found it. She began to look through it. Luckily, she found the page that showed the picture of that mysterious amulet. She looked more closely at the picture. 'Yes!' she thought. 'That is exactly the amulet I saw in the guest room. But to whom did it belong?' Curious, she got to the next page and there it was, the picture of that man to whom that amulet had once belonged. Under the photo there was mention of his name and some text about him and his amulet.

Ms Grant began reading: "Clyde Featherstone, Earl of Delingwood. Born September 18, 1789. Got that amulet from an ancestor when he was a little boy of 6 years. It was told to him that this special amulet would give him great powers over women when he would reach manhood. Clyde became very sexually hungry for women from the beginning of his manhood. His greed for sexual pacification was immense. He attacked every female who was young and beautiful, in the dark with wild desire.  But on March 28, 1818, his inclination became a disaster for him. He was killed by a female who protected her younger sister before Featherstone's sexual attacks.' Martha didn't trust her eyes when reading the name of that woman who had protected her younger sister. 'No, that can't be!' Ms Grant thought. 'That isn't possible anyway. An ancestor of Mrs. Muir killed that man. I must immediately warn Mrs. Muir that we have a very evil visitor in the house who wants to take revenge on the Williams family.'

The housekeeper boiled with anger when thinking that maybe Carolyn's cousin Hazel had brought that evil amulet into Gull Cottage with the intention to see  Carolyn's reaction to that object and perhaps in that way to find out what big secrets Mrs. Muir was hiding before the whole family. 'Oh, this underhanded cousin, I could...' but stopped herself before saying the wrong word. 'No, Martha, you must get hold of that amulet and somehow manage to get that dangerous thing out of the house.'

But this attempt failed. Before Martha could reach the living room door, she was lifted up by two icy-cold hands, flew across the room and landed very hard on the floor of the alcove where she was left unconscious. To Martha's regret, no one upstairs heard the muffled impact of her body on the floor. Featherstone was satisfied. One problem was out of his way. Now he could begin anew to attack Hazel amorously. But this attempt also missed.
***************
At the same time, near the end of the meeting of his spectral fraternity, Daniel got the feeling that he was immediately needed in Gull Cottage. But he couldn't get away from the spectral fraternity without getting some punishment. But then something happened which he hadn't counted on. Suddenly, he heard a female voice saying to him, 'Daniel Gregg, your unrest hasn't escaped me. Your thoughts aren't properly at the meeting. Your thoughts are with a living person right now and I know perfectly well who this person is you think of just now. You know we have rules here which none of us spirits should ever break.'

'I...' Daniel began but couldn't continue.

'You don't need to say a word, Daniel. Please let me finish before you say a word. Rules are there to be adhered to, but in your special case there is an exception. Carolyn Muir's and your destiny are in some way connected to each other. At this time, I can't tell you WHY, but you will be the spirit which will guide Carolyn to the other side when her time comes. So you have my permission to leave us now. I don't know what's the cause of your unrest right now, Daniel, but I see fears in yours eyes that a woman you love, may be in grave danger and you have the intention to protect her. So you have my permission to leave and go with God. But a last warning, Captain: do nothing that could give the spectral fraternity the opportunity for punishment.'

'I understand.' Daniel said and then he was gone. In a hurry he made his way back home to Gull Cottage.

Part 3

Just as the ghost of Clyde Featherstone was there to join Hazel in her bed, the cousin awakened out of her sleep through a sort of moaning noise. The ghost, in his invisible position, was fuming with anger at this renewed interruption and suddenly the amulet floated near the ceiling of the guest room.

'What was that?' Hazel thought, sitting straight up in her bed now. In her excitement, she didn't notice the floating amulet near the ceiling. Hearing nothing, she shrugged her shoulders and was about to lie down again as the same noise was heard. 'What in heaven is going on in this house? I must find out. I'm sure that noise came from Carolyn's bedroom. Harriet was right, something strange was happening to her cousin. Poor girl, I must help her.' In a hurry, she got out of bed and left the guest room. In the darkness, she made her way to the master bedroom.

The ghost of the Earl followed her because he was determined to find out what kind of noise had prevented his amorous attack on Hazel this time.

Hazel stopped at the door to the master bedroom and listened. There it was again, this moaning noise. Like her twin sister Harriet, she rushed into the room to take a look at what was happening in there, only to find a sleeping Carolyn in her own bed and moaning. Hazel couldn't believe her ears: Carolyn was making very lusty noises and yelling Daniel's name, twice. "NO, no, that's impossible!" Hazel mumbled. "Oh that poor, poor girl. She must be feeling very lonesome up here for her to have such terrible dreams. Tomorrow, I must convince her to come back with me to Philadelphia. I can't let her and the children stay in this house any longer. More and more I get the feeling that it must have had something to do with the fact that her mother has arranged a wedding for her and Captain Gregg which was never made. Wonder why? Some mysterious things are going on here, I'm very sure of it now. What kind of man is this Captain Daniel Gregg that Carolyn has such dreams of him?"

Hazel had hardly spoken this sentence that suddenly  two icy-cold hands reached for her breasts. With Mrs. Muir groaning, Clyde couldn't resist doing that. Seized by panic, the twin began to yell loudly for help. But Mrs. Muir was so deep in her erotic dream that she didn't hear her cousin's cry for help. Hazel's panic grew even more when she noticed  one of the icy hands suddenly reached for her right femoral. With a loud scream, she fainted.

"Condemned once again!" the ghost of the Earl cried. In his rage he lifted Hazel up, carried her out of the master bedroom and back into the guest room where he left her falling down on the bed like a hot potato. Naturally, it crashed under the load of Hazel's body. In her deep faint she didn't feel the impact on the bed.

His amulet was still floating near the ceiling of the room and now glowing more deadly red and all rooms of the house were now plunged in a very strange glaring light. "Alright, but there is still one female victim left for me, this Carolyn Muir. Her fierce dream did tell me that finally she can be the one I'll have my ghostly erotic fun with." It was luck for Carolyn that the ghost of Earl Clyde Featherstone didn't know that there was a kinsmanlike relation to the lady who had killed him.
 *********************
In the meantime, Daniel was back at home but couldn't materialize in his own house because there was something which seemed to prevent his appearence in Gull Cottage. "What the hell?" Daniel yelled and then he saw some light shinning through all doors and windows. "There is someone in there who has boarded my ship without my express permission. If this pirate ghost, or whatever it is, thinks he can take my place in Gull Cottage, that I will prevent, he can count on it." Captain Gregg was full of rage. "I will immediately remove this unwanted pirate from my vessel. I'm sure, whoever is in there may have designs on my beloved Carolyn or Martha. This strange light tells me that both women are in great danger."

Now the Captain made his invisible way around the house and he found a hole in that forcefield which surrounded Gull Cottage. He made his way in and reappeared in the living room. Looking around the room, he took in the disarray. And then his eyes caught sight of Martha who was lying unconscious on the floor in the alcove. "Oh my God!" He hurried to Martha's side and knelt down.

Suddenly Ms Grant began moving when hearing some noises beside her. She wanted to scream when opening her eyes but stopped when she saw it was Captain Gregg who was kneeling beside her.

Daniel became aware of Martha slowly recovering from her unconsciousness and said, "Slowly Martha, you have a nasty bump on your head. Don't do anything rush. If you feel alright so far, could you give me a quick report on what's going on here?"

Still terribly dazed from the impact on the floor, the housekeeper began whispering. "Oh, thank God Captain, you're are back." Noticing Daniel's puzzled face, she continued, but it was difficult for her to speak further. "Some evil ghost has invaded Gull Cottage while you were absent. This ghost seemed to have very big revenge desires."

Before Martha could speak further, Daniel asked an important question. "What do you mean by saying 'HE SEEMED TO HAVE REVENGE DESIRES'? Who is he and how could that evil get in to Gull Cottage?"

"I'll try to tell you." It was still difficult for Martha to speak because suddenly she felt sick. But she fought against it because she wanted to give the Captain a quick report on what happened while he was away. "It all happened after Mrs. Muir's cousin Hazel arrived. First, I discovered an amulet in the guest room on the floor. I took it and wanted to show it to Mrs. Muir. But something stopped me from doing so. So I put that thing on top of the drawers and left the room. Later that night the thought of that strange thing didn't let me sleep, so I made my way to the living room where I knew I had seen a book which showed that amulet. I found it and got to the page which showed the picture and the note accompanying it. I knew I had to warn Mrs. Muir after reading about it but didn't come to do that. Suddenly two icy-cold hands lifted me up and then..." She stopped because she felt sick again.

Immediately, Daniel noticed that it was very difficut now for Ms Grant to speak, so he said, "Please Martha, you don't need to say a further word." Somehow, he managed to carry her to the sofa where he lay her down to make it more comfortable for her because he had noticed Martha's discomfort.

But before the housekeeper fainted again she managed with her last strengths to say, "Captain, I must warn you that evil ghost of Featherstone is very underhanded."

Daniel was badly shaken by the mention of the name 'FEATHERSTONE'. The erotic magic of the Earl's amulet was well known to him and he knew about the person himself. There was only one way to get loose of this pirate: gripping the amulet and removing it from Gull Cottage. He was sure that evil ghost would follow him to the outside because he finally wanted to have back his evil thing. To prevent that the devil got the opportunity to come back again, he had to drown that amulet far from Gull Gottage into the thundering ocean.
 *************
While Daniel was planning his surprise attack, Featherstone made his way again to the master bedroom, to carry out his final attack. This time the amulet hung around his neck and was glowing with red fire. But this time his lusty attack would be successful.

In the meantime, it was almost two o'clock in the morning when Carolyn awakened bathed in sweat because there was suddenly such an unbearable heat in her bedroom. And then she suddenly began shivering when feeling a terribly icy-cold wind come into the room. She instinctively felt that great danger threatened her because she caught sight of a male shadow in her room, who had a deep red glowing thing around his neck. Carolyn knew she had to keep a cool head, if Daniel wasn't back yet, she knew she had to fight in defense by herself. In this moment she still didn't know that the Captain had already come back to protect her.

The evil ghost didn't notice that Mrs. Muir was prepared for his attack. Just in that moment where Clyde wanted to reach for Carolyn's nightgown, she was out of her bed in a hurry and tried to get hold of that glowing thing around the ghost's neck. Instinctively, she knew the amulet or whatever it was had to be removed from the house. Carolyn was absolutely sure that only in that way that evil would disappear.

But her attempt failed because Featherstone saw through her intention. He grabbed Mrs. Muir's right arm very roughly as she tried to seize his amulet. Carolyn cried out in pain.

This female cry got to Daniel, who was still in the living room. He knew he had to act immmediately.  Vanishing, he reappeared a second later in the master bedroom. Seeing his beloved fighting for her life, he acted quickly. Hurrying toward the ghost of Clyde Featherstone, he got hold of the amulet and ripped it from his neck and yelled. "Featherstone!"

Hearing the voice of another ghost calling his name, Featherstone turned around still holding Carolyn brutally against him. When seeing his amulet in Daniel's right hand he couldn't hold Mrs. Muir any longer in his arms; suddenly, she was free. Still a little bit under shock, she saw that Daniel had come back in time.

Not giving the evil ghost any opportunity for a renewed attack, Daniel disappeared with the amulet in his right hand. Captain Gregg was hardly outside Gull Cottage with that evil thing that Clyde was also dragged to the outside. Seeing the Captain disappearing with his magic amulet to the open sea, he followed because it was immediately clear to him what Daniel intended to do. He wanted to prevent this under all circumtances but it was too late. When arriving at the high sea, he saw how Captain Gregg threw the amulet into the now wildly raging ocean.

Clyde yelled. "NO!" he wanted to get hold of the amulet but it was no use. The thundering ocean swallowed it. A last cry from Clyde followed before he dissolved and was never seen again.
*****************
Five minutes later Daniel was back in the master bedroom of Gull Cottage. He found his beloved sitting on her bed, now trembling over her whole body because she was still under shock over what had happened during the last 30 minutes. He sat down beside her and took her in his protective arms. Now she felt very safe. "Featherstone will not come back and bother you again, my dear. The high sea has now become his grave forever."

"Oh Daniel, I'm so happy your are back, but there is still something I should tell you."

"No, my dear, you don't need to say a word. I know from Martha that your cousin Hazel is here. Don't worry about her, I promise you, she will remember nothing what she might perhaps have heard or seen in the last hours since her arrival." Daniel calmed her. Noticing her puzzled face, he continued, "I found Martha unconscious in the living room and talked with her when she regained consciousness for a short time. That's why I knew about your cousin, the amulet and Featherstone. And don't worry about Martha either, my darling, she is lying very comfortably on the sofa in the living room right now and she will be fine in the morning. And now you should get your rest, my love." It didn't escape him that Carolyn once again must have had a couple of fiery love dreams which had to do with his person. Despite her shock she still had a rather blushed face.  "I'll be here when you wake up."

"I know. And thank you for rescuing me, Daniel. I'm really very tired. Good night, my love." With these last words she drifted off to a now peaceful sleep.

Disclaimer: I guess the only person I own in this story is the Ghost of Clyde Featherstone. Though, the storyline is mine.
