Now Ms. Grant was crying in her sleep. "Ed, Ed, where are you?"
In her dream, she noticed
suddenly TWO shadowy figure with an arrow in
their hand. Could it be that Claymore's nightmare had become true and
two Cupids were in town? Martha knew only one thing, she had to find
her dearest Mr. Peevey as soon as
possible. If one of those Cupids had a death arrow, she must be on the
fastest way out of town. She run as fast as she could before one of the
Cupids did notice her.
In her excitement, she bumped into Claymore. "Martha, what's the matter?" he wanted to know.
"Oh, Claymore!" Martha was close to the tears. "Do you know where Mr. Peevey is? I can't find him."
"Yes, I know where he is! Haven't you heard it?"
"Heard what?" Martha cried.
"Ed was hit by a death arrow and passed away."
"Oh, no!" Ms Grant cried in her sleep. She didn't notice that Candy was standing beside her bed because she was the only one who had heard Martha's cry.
Candy tried to wake up Ms Grant, because she couldn't bear it any longer to hear Martha cry for Mr. Peevey. Somehow she managed to awaken her. "Martha, you were crying for Mr. Peevey in your dream. Could you tell me what happened?"
Martha sat up in her bed now. "Oh, Candy, good to see you. What a nightmare! I saw TWO Cupids in my dream."
"TWO Cupids?" Candy said, unbelieving. "That's not possible! How could TWO of them be in town? Martha, don't tell me, you don't mean that other is a..." the girl didn't finish.
Martha nodded her head.
"I can't stand it any more that Cupid is here.
How much longer until Valentine's Day?"
